BUILDING COMMUNITY TOGETHER

History has taught us about the importance in working together for a good purpose. Like the earliest Polish settlers who arrived to Alberta, we will proceed with tenacity, hard work and honesty to build Centre Polonia together.

PHSE is collaborating with various organizations and individuals to construct a Polish cultural centre, Centre Polonia,  on 0.7 acres of land it owns, immediately south of the Polish Hall in Edmonton, Alberta.

Centre Polonia will serve as a gathering place for cultural preservation, learning, and community engagement.

Centre Polonia will support various activities including, Saturday language schools, scouting, folk-dance groups and non-profit organizations. We will also have a museum, archives, a restaurant and a library

We will work with the diverse ethnocultural dynamic of the local Central McDougall community in order to support their organizational needs. Centre Polonia will also cater to the underserved, including Indigenous and other minority groups that need space to carry out their respective activities.
